ELIZABETH FREEMAN ROSENZWEIG

Liz is a scientist-turned-attorney who joined Switch in 2025 and spearheads our intellectual property, regulatory, general legal, and government affairs strategies. Prior to joining Switch, Liz practiced law at Morrison Foerster, where she specialized in patent prosecution and strategy, as well as regulatory issues related to genetically engineered organisms. She obtained her JD from UC Berkeley Law with a focus on intellectual property, and her PhD from Stanford University in plant cell and molecular biology.
